Winter is back. Yesterday it snowed all afternoon. Mountain sculptures, our Reykjavik Branch building, and the model of the Harfnarfjodur Lighthouse close to our apartment.

My entry at Cupcake Night. I had to use a pan for my turn table. Too bad I didn't bring my tips. Had to buy some that were plastic!

Cupcake night was a huge success thanks to everyone! Thoranna hosted and cupcakes that ranged from healthy to beautiful were judged by Elder Severe and Oskar w...ho handed out the great prizes (handmade by Unner). Elders Knudsen and Lyman baked and decorated two batches of cupcakes, both delicious but the carrot cake cupcakes were so well decorated that they won the "Best Store Bought" category! The sisters had a great time visiting and yes, when we discovered the Elders, Ben and Sara waiting by the kitchen door, they also came in to join the party. Thanks to Elder Talbot for washing the dishes!!!! Great night!!! We loved having this after Icelandic class so the au pairs from Germany could join us too.
